Jesus’ return for his Church

Jesus' return for his Church

In the present prophetic moment, the faithful Church should be constantly announcing the glorious return of the Lord Jesus to meet His church. (Matt 24:40-44) Jesus’ Return is a doctrine that is clearly expressed in the Holy Scriptures (1 Thess. 4:13-17), and it is incumbent upon the faithful Church to be attentive to the signs of times, recognizing that all the signs predicted by the Lord Jesus in the Olivet Discourse are almost fulfilled (Matt. 24:3-14 and 29-36), even though no man knows the exact day or the hour.

It is appropriate for the Church, in this moment, to pursue a life of sanctification, producing fruit of the Spirit, in obedience to the Word of God and the determinations of the Holy Spirit. The Church should constantly announce the Salvation that is found only in Christ Jesus – by grace, through faith – and His glorious return to rapture his church. (1 Thess. 5:4-10).

We understand that the faithful church in this hour seeks not only the baptism in the Holy Spirit, but also to live a life filled with the Spirit (Eph. 5:18-21). Just like the wise virgins in the parable, the Church that will be raptures will have not only a little oil, but also a reserve of extra oil. (Matt 25:1-13) The faithful Church will be prepared, and then will be a glorious Church, without spot (sin) or wrinkle (spiritual aging). (Eph. 5:26-27)

The Church not only watches for the Lord’s return, but longs to see Him come (2 Tim. 4:8). This is why the unfaithful church criticizes the hope and longing of the faithful Church. (2 Pet. 3:4), for this glorious moment in the History of Salvation. But the faithful Church is being edified more each day, with its faith and hope in the return of the Lord Jesus continually strengthened, through the presence of signs that confirm the preaching of the gospel, the operation of the spiritual gifts, and the counsel and directions from the Lord.

“The Spirit and the bride say, ‘Come!’ And let him who hears say, ‘Come!’… He who testifies to these things says, ‘Yes, I am coming soon.’” Amen. Come, Lord Jesus. (Rev. 22:17, 20)
