The testimonials of this chapter tell how the Lord God is operating in the midst of His Church through the spiritual gifts in Evangelism, that is, to operate salvation. This operation is happening both in the places where services are held and in great meetings (with the presence of thousands of people) to reach the unbelievers with the message of salvation.

The importance of the use of the spiritual gifts in Evangelism lies in the fact that, as one experiments an operation of the Holy spirit revealing the secrets of their heart and testifying that this revelation comes from God, the visitor is convinced that the Jesus announced by the Christian religions is alive, knows their life and loves them. At that moment the visitor proclaims that God is truly in the midst of His Church and converts (I Cor. 14:22)

Conversion, of course, does not happen only through a spiritual gift. Before that, the visitor already heard a testimonial about Jesus as the Savior, as the “Lamb of God that away the sin of the world.” (Por favor confira a citação – estou sem a Bíblia em inglês comigo). The spiritual gift is, however, the most powerful and biblical means to reap what was sowed through the preaching of God’s Word.
